Collecting payments

Formblyt can take a payment as part of a submission, so registrations, bookings and orders arrive already paid.

Connecting a gateway

Open payment settings and connect a supported gateway with your own credentials. Formblyt never stores raw card details; the gateway hosts the checkout step.

Adding a payment step to a form

Set the amount, currency and description on the form's payment settings. Respondents complete the questions, pay, and are returned to a confirmation page.

Confirming payments

A submission is only marked as paid after the gateway's signed server-side confirmation is verified, so a browser redirect alone can never mark a payment as complete.

Frequently asked questions

Which currencies can I charge in?

The currencies supported by your connected gateway, including local currency pricing where the gateway allows it.

Where do the funds go?

Directly to your own gateway account; Formblyt does not hold your customers' funds.

Can I refund a payment?

Refunds are issued from your gateway dashboard; the submission record keeps its payment history.
