Building forms

The builder is a two-pane editor: the field list on the left, settings and live preview on the right. Everything is drag and drop.

Adding and ordering fields

Click a field type in the palette to append it to the form, then drag any field by its handle to change the order. Selecting a field opens its settings, where you can set the label, help text, placeholder and whether it is required.

Field types

Short text and long text for free responses; email, phone and URL with format validation; number and currency for amounts; date and time pickers; dropdown, multiple choice and checkboxes for option lists; rating scale for satisfaction questions; address for structured location data; file upload for documents and images; signature for approvals; and section dividers to break long forms into readable blocks.

Validation

Each field can be marked required, and numeric and scale fields accept minimum and maximum values. Email, phone and URL fields validate their format before a submission is accepted, which keeps your exported data usable.

Theme and layout

Choose a preset or set your own primary colour, background, text colour, font and button style. You can also upload a banner image, set the content width and adjust spacing. The preview updates as you edit, so you always see the respondent's view.

Frequently asked questions

How many fields can one form have?

There is no hard field limit for normal use; very long forms are better split into sections with dividers and conditional logic.

Can I duplicate a field?

Yes, duplicate a configured field and edit the copy instead of rebuilding it.

Are uploads stored securely?

Files are stored against your account with access controls, and are downloadable from the response view.
